Chris,
I was at Deloitte when Hagel and Brown joined the firm and really promoted this small research group within the company. It's ironic to me that a consulting firm focused squarely on profitable sectors such as M&A, IT and Healthcare consulting would be interested or even explore the fringe - they may study it, but they don't live on it.

At Six Apart we do - we live and thrive on the fringe, on the edge where innovation and exploration are the currency of success. To study a thing is one thing. To do it, quite another. I think the kudos belongs to the people at innovative companies like Six Apart and to people like you who practice the art instead of just observing others.
